I design gardens of all sizes, from small town courtyards to large country estates. I am happy to be involved in simple planting plans through to complete redesigns. Planting paving, pots and beds Colour, texture and form are essential in my designs, which blend contemporary and traditional elements. I believe that the smaller details make a garden what it is.

Experience
I set up my business in 2000 and gained full membership of my professional body: the Society of Garden Designers a few years later. I have designed a diverse range of gardens including courtyards, roof terraces, traditional country estates and contemporary urban retreats. I have also designed an organic vegetable garden and 2 small skip gardens as part of raising awareness.

I love to work with clients who are aiming to reduce their carbon footprint and use ethical and sustainable materials.

I have a degree in Fine Art from Central St Martins and previously worked as a water biologist and so naturally use these skills and experience, where applicable, in my garden design.

Please see CASE STUDIES for more examples of my work.
